I grew up in Geneva, Alabama, where I made up stories in my head to escape reality. I moved to New York City and then to Atlanta where I earned a journalism degree from Georgia State University. I've worked as a newspaper reporter, broadcaster and editor. Since moving to the Florida Panhandle, I've written three novels: Mardi Gravestone, now retitled as Sex, Love & Murder. My second novel is Hurricane House. It received 5 stars from Midwest Book Review and 4.5 stars from Romantic times--and has been republished with a new cover. My third book, A Message in the Roses, which will be out soon, and is loosely based on a murder trial I covered in Atlanta.
