Hi, my name is Christine Morehouse. I have
been writing since I first picked up a crayon when I was a little girl. It was
instant love the moment my emerald green Crayola crayon found a white wall to
scribble on. Years have passed and I have gone from crayon to laptop. I write
daily. Writing for me is like breathing. Writing fuels not only my creative
side, but energizes my soul.
Becoming a reviewer
was an easy choice for me. I proudly proclaim that I am a book junkie. I’m a
voracious reader. There isn’t a genre that I will not try, read, and review. I
do have a few genres that are my forte: historical, contemporary, paranormal,
and erotic. I came late to the steampunk genre party, but I really enjoy
reading them.
On a personal side I
am the single mother of four teenage girls. The oldest two are in college and
the youngest two are in high school. I just recently celebrated my 43rd
birthday on March 23rd. My girls love to call me an old lady because I have a
few gray hairs. I also have babies of the animal persuasion. Magnum, Velocity,
and Bullet are my three dachshunds who are spoiled and act more human than dog-like.
When I’m not writing, reading, or reviewing, I am an avid
FoodNetwork and Cooking Channel watcher. My latest passion is watching NBC’s “Who
Do You Think You Are?” and seeing all the interesting ways to research your
history using online sites or your local institutions.
I have four blogs: RCJR eZine, Over the Edge, Rockin’ the
Muse, and Saucy & Sinful. On January
1, 2012 I launched the official review site and electronic
magazine, RCJR eZine.
