My professional writing career started about a year ago. But my desire for writing started when I was in junior high. I wrote poems and short stories, and even one play. But I was terrified of the rejection I would surely receive. So I left that dream behind to pursue others. I got married, had kids, worked in an office, but never gave up my love of books. As an adult with teen-aged children, a husband and a full-time job I went back to school part-time and finally got my degree. It was then that I realized if I can get my degree I can follow other dreams as well. After 30 years of wishing I could be an author, I finally realized...I CAN BE! With the support of my husband and kids, I wrote my first novel. And with the advice and assistance of other author friends I published my first novel. Now there's no stopping me!
