I am a self-published author and my love of romance novels began basically the first time I read one! ;)

When writing, I like to take my readers into the adventure with me....to give them imagery that you'd find in a screenplay, so they feel like they are living the story and get the same picture of the surroundings in their mind as I had in my own when I wrote it. I pour my soul into my characters and the story and try to have a balance of realism in a 'fairy tale' situation with a bit of humor...and you will find some of my personality in ALL of my characters, both male and female. LIGHTNING has garnered excellent four and five star reviews, and was a #1 Best Seller in Time Travel Romances on Amazon in the month of October 2012. It has remained a Top 10, 20 and Top 100 Best Seller in its genre for months and after countless requests for a sequel, QUICKSILVER MOON was released in November of 2012. It immediately went to #1 in Hot New Releases in Time Travel Romance on Amazon.com and has remained a Top 100 Best Seller in overall Time Travel Romances along with its predecessor. I have a desire to inspire, and often on my Facebook page(s) you will find numerous short essays or thought-provoking blurbs I've written which may help someone out there who needs those words of encouragement and a little spark to get their inner light glowing again...to get them moving, thinking...reaching for a star.
Aside from being a romance author, I have also been a professional singer/songwriter/performer for most of my life. I love writing and recording music, and performing on the weekends with my band, NORTH 2 SOUTH. Some other interests: I would love to format one or more of my books into screenplays and get them into film and I enjoy working with photography and graphic arts. I have designed all three of my book covers, and have had numerous requests to model for one. Hmmm...may have to go ahead and give that one a try! LOL! Life's short, right? ;)
There is no greater joy than in learning and gaining knowledge in as many subjects as possible (KNOWLEGE + RESPONSIBILITY = EMPOWERMENT) and I have an intense interest in historical sites. There's definitely a few places on my Bucket List that I intend to see! The Mayan pyramids at Ollantaytambo, the ruins Puma Panku and Macchu Pichu, The City of Petra (where Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was filmed), Egypt (my favorite picture of my dad is one of him on a camel in front of the Great Pyramid of Khufu...I want to follow in his footsteps), the Greek Islands and the mainland where my ancestors came from, middle Europe's castles and megaliths...and more! It's a big world out there filled with the wonders of history...and the more of it we see and experience, the more we come to know where our origins lie, and that in the end, we are not so different but instead we are all one. Most of all, just as I write in my stories...I look forward to the many adventures life has to offer.
